| | Southdown PSV to restore essential bus link for Ramslye.
New service for Ramslye begins on April 2.
Southdown PSV which operates bus services 231 & 233 between Tunbridge Wells & Edenbridge is to introduce a new service between Tunbridge Wells & Ramslye (via The Pantiles & Sainsbury’s).
This service (289) replaces in part the operation by Griffin, which has ceased operation.
Southdown will run an hourly service, Monday-Friday, leaving Ramslye at 10:11, 11:11, 12:11 and 13:11, providing an essential link for the residents in the area.
Steve Wallis, operations manager of Southdown PSV, said: “Timetables and the new route have been designed specifically to cater for older residents in Ramslye, giving excellent shopping opportunities for Sainsbury’s and the town centre.”
